In the current century, technological developments are growing, one of which is on social media such as Facebook. Facebook is an online media that can bring together anyone for its users, and can write or post whatever its users want. When writing a status or commenting on something on Facebook, there are many unusual uses of language, generally used by teenagers and the language is called alay.However, not all teenagers are categorized as alay, only those who use languages that are not generally said to be alay. From the writing of the language, someone must have a certain purpose and purpose in writing the sentence. This study aims to analyze the speech acts of the intent and purpose of using the language in Facebook by showing the illocutionary power of adolescent conversations on Facebook. And will look at speech events that happen to some teenagers who use language that is not in general.
