Health is an issue that must be considered by humans. One of the factors in people's lack of health is caused by busy activities and modern lifestyles. This can trigger the onset of diseases, especially those related to the gastrointestinal tract, one of which is gastritis. According to WHO, the incidence of gastritis in Indonesia reached 40.8%. The incidence of gastritis in several regions in Indonesia is quite high with a prevalence of 274,396 cases out of 238,452,952 population. Gastritis is an inflammation of the gastric mucosa. Treatment is done by reducing gastric acid secretion with the drug used is Lansoprazole. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of gastritis patients and the number of uses of Lansoprazole at Assyifa Farma 2 Pharmacy. By collecting prescription data of gastritis patients in 2022, this study used quantitative descriptive research techniques. The sample size was the same as the population. Based on age, most were aged between 12-25 years (17.2%), 26-45 years (21.5%), and 65 years (49.5%). Based on gender, the highest number of gastritis patients were women with a percentage of (63.4%) while men (36.6%). The use of Lansoprazole with the highest percentage reached (16.1%).
