GAMBARAN EFEK SAMPING OBAT ANTIHIPERTENSI PADA PASIEN RAWAT JALAN DI SALAH SATU RUMAH SAKIT DI KABUPATEN BANDUNG BARAT

Hypertension is an important risk factor that can lead to cardiovascular complications. Hypertension itself is categorized as the silent disease because the patient does not know he has hypertension before having his blood pressure checked. This study aims to find out how the side effects of antihypertensive drugs are on outpatients at a hospital in West Bandung Regency. The research method used is a quantitative method. The data collection technique used in completing this Final Project is by distributing questionnaires, interviews, and literature studies that are relevant to the subject matter. The results of this study are based on gender, age, and occupation. Most of the patients with hypertension were female, 12 respondents (60%), 12 respondents (60%) aged 44-60 years, and 10 respondents (50%) working as housewives. The most frequently used drug group was the CCB (Calcium Channel Blocker) drug, namely amlodipine 10 mg by 15 respondents (75%) out of 20 respondents. Meanwhile, 3 respondents (15%) took furosemide 40 mg, 1 respondent (5%) bisoprolol 5 mg and 5 mg amlodipine 1 respondent (5%). The most common side effects experienced by people with hypertension are dry mouth, fatigue in the body, dizziness and itching. So it can be concluded that most female adults suffer from hypertension, the most widely used antihypertensive therapy is amlodipine 10 mg.
