Hypertension is a continuous condition characterized by increased blood pressure in the arteries. Antihypertensive drugs are drugs that are used to lower blood pressure to a minimum level that is normal or okay. The types of drugs that are often used are diuretics, beta blockers, ACEIs and ARBs, CCBs and other groups. The purpose of this study was to determine the pattern of use of antihypertensive drugs in outpatients at RSAU dr. M. Salamun June 2023 period. This research method is a type of analytic observational research. Observations were made on 310 hypertensive patients. From the observation results, it was found that those who received antihypertensive drugs based on age were aged > 60 years, namely 176 patients (57%). In conclusion, the most drug users based on gender were women, namely 172 patients (55%). The most widely used drug was Bisoprolol, with 249 prescriptions (32.47%). Based on the group, the most prescribed were Beta Blockers with 251 prescriptions (33%). Based on combination drugs, 124 prescriptions (40%) were antihypertensive drugs 2 combinations.
